This is another recipe using the Ninja Foodie XL Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer. It’s a really easy recipe. Any of your favorite spice mixture can be used to air fry the tofu. It is crispy and uses very little oil compared to frying the tofu in the regular way. Use this in Buddha Bowls, vegetarian tacos, or a healthy salad @sarchakra
PREP TIME: 2 mins
COOK TIME: 20 mins
- Tofu 14 oz
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Pepper 1 tbsp
- Soy sauce 2 tbsp
- Cornstarch 2 tbsp
- Drain tofu and pat fry with kitchen towel. Press with a fry kitchen towel and keep it pressed with a heavy pan for ½ hour till all the water is dried up. Cut tofu into small cubes.
- Put olive oil, black pepper, soy sauce and cornstarch on tofu and gently rub the pieces with the mixture.
- Line the air crisp tray with aluminum foil.
- Place the tofu cubes on the lined tray. Close the crisping lid. Select AIR CRISP. Set the TEMPERATURE to 400°F, set the time to 20 mins. Select START. After 10 mins flip the tofu cubes and cook the other side for the rest of the time.
