Egg Noodles with Vegetables

This is another quick recipe with a ton of vegetables. Keep everything ready before you start and add as many or as different vegetables you want. You could add chicken or pork as well. If adding meat, cook that first and make sure it is cooked through. @sarchakra

YIELD: Serves or Makes 4-5


  • Egg noodles 24 oz
  • Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil 2 tbsp
  • salt
  • Water chestnuts 1 can
  • Bean sprouts 1 cup
  • Green pepper 2 thinly sliced
  • Orange pepper 1 thinly sliced
  • Hoisin sauce 4 tbsp
  • Fermented Black beans 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 3 tbsp
  • Fish sauce 2 tbsp
  • Chili oil 2 tbsp
  • Garlic 4 tbsp finely chopped
  • Onion 1 small chopped
  • Ginger 2 tbsp juliennes


  • Cook noodles according to package directions. 
  • In a small bowl mix together: soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chili oil and sesame oil 
  • In a wok heat oil, stir fry onions till soft. Add garlic and ginger. 
  • Add green pepper, bean sprouts, water chestnuts and stir in cooked noodles. 
  • Cook for a few minutes on high heat. Add the sauce and continue to cook for a couple of minutes till done. 
  • Serve hot.
