Remember to consult with a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or if you have any underlying health conditions.

Turmeric contains curcumin, a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound. It supports liver function, aids in digestion, and helps eliminate toxins from the body.

Ginger has been used for centuries to aid digestion and soothe the digestive system. It also possesses anti-inflammatory properties and supports detoxification processes.

Black pepper contains piperine, a compound that enhances the bioavailability of curcumin in turmeric. It promotes overall detoxification, supports digestion and stimulates the secretion of digestive enzymes and possesses antibacterial and antioxidant properties.

Lemon juice is rich in vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that boosts the immune system and protects against oxidative stress. It supports liver function and aids in the elimination of toxins. It alkalizes the body and helps maintain a healthy pH balance. It also acts as a natural cleanser and supports the body’s detoxification processes.

Cayenne pepper contains capsaicin, which boosts metabolism and promotes fat burning. It supports circulation and metabolism and aids in the removal of toxins from the body. It helps in reducing inflammation and alleviating pain. It also has detoxifying properties and may aid in weight loss.

Fair warning: turmeric stains everything so use caution if you have light colored counter tops like mine. In case of any spilling, make a thick paste of baking soda with water, lather it thick and let sit for 15 mins. Wipe away and any stain will be gone! Needless to say, I learnt this the hard way.
