Ideally Mango Lassi is made with fresh mangoes and yogurt. But you can also use canned Alphonso mangoes too. In that case omit the sugar since canned mangoes already have sugar.

This drink is a great way to replenish electrolytes and lost fluids. It is a nutritious beverage that is loaded with vitamins and minerals.

This hydrating beverage is helpful in maintaining your fluid intake throughout the summer.

Greek yogurt is a great source of calcium and protein. The probiotics in yogurt promotes a healthy gut and helps strengthen the immune system and promotes digestion.

Mangoes are a good source of vitamins like A and C, as well as minerals and antioxidants. The high fiber content of mangoes aids in digestion and promotes regularity.

To make this recipe vegan-friendly, swap the honey for maple syrup, agave nectar or another sweetener of your choice.

Use coconut milk instead of regular milk for a vegan option. Use vegan yogurt made from almonds, cashews, coconut or peas.

Add a pinch of cinnamon powder to enhance the flavor.

Use frozen mango pulp instead of fresh mangoes to make the Lassi.

Try adding some mint leaves instead of cardamom and saffron to give the lassi a refreshing twist.

Add small chunks of fresh mangoes to the Mango Lassi just before serving for an added texture.

Add some chopped almonds, cashews, or chia seeds to make the Lassi more nutritious.

Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or mango ice cream to the Lassi for a more decadent dessert-like drink.

Add a drop of vanilla extract for a unique twist.

Experiment with different varieties of mangoes to change up the flavor and texture. Some mangoes are sweeter than others, while some are more fibrous or tart. But whichever type you choose, the key is to make sure they’re ripe and juicy, so that the lassi is bursting with flavor.
