Ingredients
- Ripe mango chunks 1 cup
- Greek yogurt ½ cup
- Milk/coconut milk ½ cup
- Sugar/honey/sweetener 1 tbsp
- Cardamom ¼ tsp
- Saffron a pinch
Method
- Grind the saffron and add 2 tbsp of water. Keep aside for a few mins.
- In a blender, add the cubed mango, Greek yogurt, milk, sugar, cardamom, the saffron water and a handful of ice cubes.
- Blend until smooth.
- Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
- Serve immediately in glasses.
Notes
Ideally Mango Lassi is made with fresh mangoes and yogurt. But you can also use canned Alphonso mangoes too. In that case omit the sugar since canned mangoes already have sugar.
