This is a ‘dump everything and forgot about it’ recipe. Who doesn’t like that? Go about your business while this is cooking on a low heat. Come back to fluffy, flavorful rice. There is no prep time needed as you will only use pantry items which is even better. The 2 mins is for gathering the items needed for this recipe. COOK TIME: 30 mins

Ingredients
- Long grain rice 1 cup
- Water 3 cups
- Dried onions 2 tsp
- Red pepper flakes 2 tsp
- Dehydrated bell pepper 3 tsp
- Garlic powder 2 tsp
- Oregano 1 tsp
- Chicken stock cubes x 2
- Saffron a few strands
- Turmeric 1 tbsp
- Butter 2 tbsp
- Sage 2 tbsp
Method
- Heat 3 cups of water.
- Add butter, rice, saffron, garlic powder, dried onions, dehydrated bell pepper, red pepper flakes, chicken stock cubes, oregano and turmeric into the water.
- Make sure the stock cubes dissolve completely in the liquid.
- Lower the heat and cover. Simmer till the rice is done for about 25 mins.
- Serve with thinly sliced sage.
